So last weekend we drove upto Artesia, NM to see my brother graduate from the Border Patrol Academy, he still has 8 more weeks there learning spanish, but he graduated from the academy part of it. Brycen loves his Uncle Lin so much, i'm pretty much chop liver when he's around, Uncle Lin is alot more fun! I'm really bummed about this pic, it's such a great pic of them but it's pretty dark, i need Robert to put a photo editing program on the computer so that i can lighten it. But both Lin and Brycen have huge grins!
We took Brycen to the park one of the days we were there, he had alot of fun going down all the slides with my mom and brother Devin. He actually thought it was alot of fun to push Grandma Estes down the slide, until he forgot to let go of her in time and ended up sliding down behind her, he wasn't so happy about that, but we all thought it was pretty funny!
He had alot of fun trailing Devin around the playground and convincing him to slide with him constantly. When he got bored with one slide he'd drag Uncle Devin over to another slide.
On Sunday pretty much the whole town shuts down, and we didn't want to do to much on Sunday since we typically don't go anywhere except church on Sundays, so we ended up running to Walmart and buying a little plastic bowling pin set, Brycen had a blast playing with it in the hallway of the Hotel. Uncle Lin would set up the pins and Brycen would have fun knocking them down, whether by throwing the ball or running up and kicking them down.
