We've gone to Urgent Care or the Emergency Room every year for the past 4 years for Ear Infections, but this time was different! Brycen was running "really fast" towards the couch, missed the couch and smacked his head into the corner of the train table. Luckily it was a rounded corner! He cried for a few minutes and then was fine, he held a rag against his forehead the whole way to Urgent Care. Below he was laying there for about 20 minutes with a cleaner soaking into the cut, then he laid for another 10 minutes with gauze over it while the doc made sure it was good and dry.
He lucked out that it was a clean straight cut that didn't hit a blood vessel so it didn't bleed very much. The doc was able to "suture" it with steri strips, basically they glued the strips over the cut and he is supposed to keep them on for 7 days. Then he should be just about good as new!
When we left Urgent Care Brycen told us he was brave! Lol, it was so sweet!
